Parasite cover illustration

Scientific illustration I made for a portfolio cover. It refers to a scientific essay about the common liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica), which infects livestock (cattle and sheep) and is transmitted by  snails from the family Lymnaeidae, most commonly the American ribbed fluke snail (Pseudosuccinea columella) depicted in this illustration.
